The 43rd edition of the International Tourism Fair of Cuba kicks off and with it we resume publication of Sol de Cuba, with a fresh approach including the publication of information on multiple digital and printed platforms about the Caribbean archipelago as a tourist destination.
This is the most important professional event for the sector in the country, bringing together tour operators, representatives of travel agencies, airlines, authorities and the Cuban business community along with the specialized press. In 2025, we will have a new exhibition space dedicated to suppliers and a Technology Fair.
We share with readers the benefits of this land as an exceptional Carribbean destination for vacations, participation in events of various kinds, business meetings or any other option that brings international visitors to our country. Cuba continues to protect its natural treasures, whether they be beaches, mountains, forests, rivers or swamps, while the authentic charisma of its people offers those who choose to come here a unique and happy experience.
The pages and sites of Sol de Cuba will reveal the options that travelers can enjoy in our tourist destinations in multiple languages. Each Cuban province has its gifts and the creativity and decades-long effort to build a sustainable leisure industry linked to the idiosyncrasy of its inhabitants has built an infrastructure that brings visitors closer to nature, traditions and heritage throughout the national territory.
We wanted to dedicate this year’s FITCUBA to the People’s Republic of China, a nation that has continued to build solid ties of brotherhood and solidarity with Cuba. Precisely in the tourism sector, these relations show how it is possible to create a common development project associated with practices that bring well-being to human beings.
We also welcome our brothers from the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples’ Trade Treaty, with the purpose of building the dream of multidestination tourism, with benefits for local economies. For this, connectivity is essential and we hope to promote this through safe routes.
Welcome to FitCuba 2025!
Juan Carlos García Granda,
Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Cuba
